Meet Me in Monaco: A Novel of Grace Kelly's Royal Wedding

Just finished Meet Me in Monaco: A Novel of Grace Kelly’s Royal Wedding. Love these bits of historical fiction where you get wrapped up in a story but learn some history along the way. Grace Kelly was America’s darling, choosing to leave Hollywood for the man of her dreams. As I read I’d look up parts of her story online. Fascinating. He was rumored to have wanted to marry Marilyn. He chose wisely with Grace. He was also apparently under pressure to marry and have an heir in order to keep the principality independent from France. Who knew?  Anyway, it’s hard not to read about Grace Kelly and imagine her gracious ways and her storybook life. Having been to Monaco last October I was taken back as I read. It’s really simply magic.
